AirSense Analytics manufacture a range of instrumentation for gas sensing as follows;

bullet The PEN 2.  Portable Electronic Nose
bullet The EDU 2. Enrichment and Desorption Unit.
bulletThe GDU First Responders unit for hazardous substance identification
bulletThe i-PEN. Intelligent Gas Sensor for In-Process Applications.

Key Benefits

bulletExcellent specificity with multiple sensors
bulletSmall size, lightweight, robust, portable
bulletIn process systems for tailored application to specific process needs

The PEN 2.  Portable Electronic Nose

This portable electronic nose is small, lightweight, fast and robust, and can be used for identifying gases and gas mixtures.  An array of gas sensors is used, and a "GO-NO GO" result allows the PEN 2 to be used for lab, portable or in line applications.

The EDU 2. Enrichment and Desorption Unit.

This device is the same compact size as the PEN 2 (230mm x 285mm x 65mm Wt 2.3Kg) and allows adsorption sampling over time, onto a wide range of sorbents, to improve detection limits.  The EDU 2 interfaces to the PEN 2 to allow analysis of the desorbed materials for rapid and sensitive analysis.  The system is portable and robust, allowing sensitive in-field measurements to be performed easily.

The GDA2. First Responders Unit for Hazardous Substance identification.

The new portable gas detector array is specifically designed to detect and monitor most common hazardous substances including chemical warfare agents (CWA), ammonia, inorganic sour gases, small chlorinated molecules as well as other electropositive  and electronegative compounds.  With additional detectors the GDA is able to evaluate toxic compounds including benzene, phosgene, vinyl chloride and chlorobenzene.

The GDA's gas flow system and internal dilution systems is ideal for fire and rescue workers operating in harsh environments.

 The system is portable and robust, allowing sensitive in-field measurements to be performed easily.

The i-PEN. Intelligent gas sensor for in-process applications.

These standard rack mounted e-nose units feature 10 metal oxide sensors which can be trained for particular odour profile analysis allowing particular detection capabilities for odour control or determinations in process streams or waste treatment facilities. Various versions are available, including pumps and adsorbent traps to increase sensitivity. Auto ranging and a wide sensitivity range ensure accurate results in unsupervised operation.
